$375,000 settlement
Scott Radcliffe achieved a $375,000 settlement on behalf of his client related to a dispute on a public works construction project at UC Davis.
Div 15 Tech, a mechanical and plumbing contractor entered into a subcontract agreement for $2,234,000 with Diede Construction, Inc., the general contractor, to perform construction related services on a public works project at UC Davis. Mr. Radcliffe’s client sued Diede Construction for unpaid work alleging that Diede Construction had wrongfully issued deductive change orders for delays. Diede Construction disputed the claims and filed a cross-complaint against Mr. Radcliffe’s for more than $200,000, attorneys fees, costs and interest.
Mr. Radcliffe successfully settled the case at mediation resulting in his client receiving $375,000. Diede Construction received $0.
